Gosh...SUCH A DEAL! Unfortunately, I bought all my AK74 style mags years & years ago, when they were more reasonably priced.

Re: AK 74 Fans

I wish there were more AK-74s available...yeah I too loaded up on the mags when they were what...5 or 6 bucks apiece?

BTW, the new Saigas in 5.45 should be coming in soon and these mags could be easily adapted to fit...or vice versa.

$20 is still is a reasonable deal in todays market. I bought mine 4-5 years ago.

I thought so as I haven't been able to find any myself.
If anyone knows of a better deal please post it :15_1_70v:

I don't know how much I paid each for mine - I didn't keep that info. I DO know, however, that I bought them back in 2000 from CDNN. These were the dark orange (reinforced Bakelite stuff) mags with metal feed lips & locking lugs. Used, but in great shape.

Then there were the "cheap" 75 round AK drums for under $50, Finnish Mosin Nagant rifles available for $35-$50, Turk Mausers for $33 (delivered), East German Makarovs,.......

The scary thing is that in 10 years or so, we'll probably look back at how cheap things were waaaay back in 2009!

The days of 12 mags in pouches for $29 are long gone. Nowadays $20 (or more) per mag if you can find them looks to be the going rate.

Onboard,
Thx for posting the link.

Not EVERYONE here has been a member of the gun culture for twenty/forty years.

Plus not everyone is up on where to purchase magazines, including AK74's.

So, thx.

And don't let the crusty guys get to yah. None of us get out that much any more.

Thanks Wallew. True enough I got a late start.

They're supposed to be in tomorrow, I'm hoping to snag one of those plum colored Russian ones just because I don't have one. I've got a Bulgarian and several of those orange bakelite East German ones which are excellent by the way. So again , if anyone knows where there is a better deal please post it. I'm not interested in pro-mag as it has a plastic locking lug.

Thanks again Wallew and it was my pleasure to post the link. :coolbeer:

Mags came in. Bulgarian and Russian plum. Pouch appears new and mags fit better than E. German.
